On Sunday, March 22 I got the phone call I have been anticipating for almost 9 months! My best friend Casey was about to be a mom! Jake and I went to the hospital and anxiously waited for Aiden. It was such an incredible experience. Casey has been my best friend from the moment we met standing in line for our dorm keys at Baylor. Sitting in that waiting room was the most unreal moment. We had talked about this so many times...and now, here she was about to have her first little boy! At 11:32 pm Aiden finally arrived! He was 3 weeks early and weighed 7 lbs 1 oz!! We got to go see him that night and it was amazing!! He is the sweetest little thing! Casey and Chris are doing well. Being around them this week has been something i will never forget. They love Aiden so much...and he loves them, recognizes their voices and feels safe when he is with them. It is such an awesome picture of how amazing God is! They are such incredible parents and I am so happy for them. Baby Aiden is in the NICU because of his early arrival and will stay there for about a week and a half. But, he is doing well and has the best mom, dad, and nurses taking care of him. I cannot wait till he is finally home with them!!

Isn't God amazing and isn't it awesome that you got to be a part of the birth of Aiden!
