Mom's Party Boots

Last weekend Amy and I headed to Houston to spend some time with our Mom and Dad.  On the way there I said the following to my mom, "Are you excited that we are almost there?  Get out your flag and put on your party boots cause it's about to get crazy when Amy and I arrive."  Thankfully, God gave me a mom that not only puts up with the ridiculous things I say and do, but also thinks it's funny and plays along.  Please imagine how hard we laughed when we pulled into the driveway to this surprise -

Here she is, waving her flag in her party boots and all.  Thank you Mom (and Dad), for making life with our family so much fun.  Keep those party boots ready for my next visit home.  I love you!
