Easter Weekend in Houston

We spent Easter weekend in Houston with our family.  The only thing missing was Amy.  She had to work Saturday and Sunday (she's a nurse) so...it wasn't the same without her.  We woke up Saturday and headed to the Houston Arboretum.  I'll be honest, I was very excited.  The Arboretum seemed like a perfect Easter weekend activity...beautiful flowers...etc.  However, pretty much as soon as we arrived we all agreed that it was kind of a bust.  It was basically a nature walk.  I mean, we did have fun together but the most excited thing we saw was a bunny and a caterpillar.  Oh, and about one wild flower.

       Can you see the bunny?

Easter Sunday was wonderful.  After church we enjoyed a delicious honey baked ham and watched the Masters.  By the way, for the first time in my life...I loved watching the Masters.  I really wanted Kenny Perry to win - he is 48 and seems like the sweetest man.  I am praising the Lord for such a wonderful weekend at home with my family.  I am pretty sad to leave but feel so blessed to be a part of a family that loves spending time together!
I know Olive is sad to leave too...She LOVES it @ my parents.  This is her favorite spot.
