I am quickly realizing that I am not very good at blogging!  It's been over a week since my last entry...so, I'll try and give an update of our week.

Last Friday was my 26th birthday.  It's still kind of hard to believe that I am already 26.  Time goes way too fast.  Jake and I had dinner at Texas de Brazil.  It was delicious and such a fun atmosphere.  My gift was a massage and I was so excited because I've never had one before.  I have always wanted one but am too nervous to go by myself.  Luckily, I have a husband who is willing to sacrifice and get one with me :)!  It was wonderful!  My lady (who was definitely from russia) told me i should come at least every 2 weeks.  I am still trying to convince Jake that this is a wise way to spend our money every month!  My sister also treated me to lunch and a pedicure that afternoon.  It was the perfect weekend and I am very grateful.

We also did a little house hunting...which was VERY fun and a little overwhelming.  We are just praying that God would provide the perfect place and that we would be patient and wise!!  

I had my very first open house @ school this week.  I'll be honest, I was a little nervous.  But, it was so much fun and I was reminded of how blessed I am to A. have a job B. have a job that I really enjoy.  Only 5 more weeks until the summer!  I find myself wishing the days away so that summer will arrive quickly...My prayer is that I would take advantage of every day, be grateful for every sweet gift that God has blessed us with, and most importantly be a light for Him in everything that I do.  

Jake is pretty sick this weekend!  I know he must feel miserable because he rarely ever complains.  SO, while he has been resting I have been cleaning and watching tv.  Mostly watching tv...including lifetime movies.  That's my confession of the week...I watch lifetime movies from time to time!
