I'll be honest, I hate working out! I will come up with any excuse to get out of it! This is a huge(no pun intended) problem when you love cokes, candy, and carbs. I have decided about 100 times this year that I was seriously comitted to eating healthy and working out. Almost every Saturday I say "this is my last time to eat sweets or drink a regular coke (I can't completely give them up yet). Monday my diet and work out regimen really begins!" And then I fail miserably. So, in order to really stick to it this time I decided to try a few things.
1.New running shoes! Found some that I loved last weekend and Jake surprised me with them last night! When I put them on, I feel like I can head on outside and run marathon. I know that is VERY unlikely, but maybe the new shoes will add some motivation!

2. A new "workout" playlist on my ipod! I tried it out earlier this week and it was wonderful.

3. Blogging about it - Now I am not the only one that knows that I am "really" starting this getting healthy thing. I really have to since I have told so many people (the three that read my blog).
maybe I should try these bc I have no motivation...I need baby weight to go away! Maybe we should workout together....or maybe that would backfire and on the way to the gym we'd wind up at baskin robbins!
ReplyDeleteYou should try Jillian's 30 Day Shred...it only takes 20 minutes a day! It's hard but it's over before you know it! Good luck...I'm right there with ya!
