This is my Mom/Best friend :)
I am a tad bit depressed that I can't be home for Mother's Day this year so here are a few things i love about her!
1. she has always been the most selfless mom. still always puts us before herself.
2. she never misses time with God in the morning. And by morning I mean...REALLY EARLY MORNING
3. She is the greatest wife. I love that she and my dad are always laughing together.
4. She is hilarious. And, the best part is that she thinks she is pretty funny too!
5. She bleeds green and gold. And, now a little maroon and white too (very surprising). she is a little obsessed with Baylor and A&M (now that andrew goes there).
6. She's always right...which I used to hate, but now I love.
7. She is the best mother in law to Jake.
8. She is so thoughtful. Always sending letters, newspaper articles (usually about baylor sports), surprise gifts, etc. We always had a note in our lunch's growing up... I will remember that forever.
9. She would never admit this but...she is kind of obsessed with our dog Olive.
10. She really is my best friend.
People often tell me that I am just like my mom. This is the greatest compliment! I am so proud to be her daughter and have learned so much from her. I love you Mom!! Happy Mother's day!!

ReplyDeleteYou do have such a great mom! I remember at my baby shower, Amy wrote #9 down as one of her favorite "traditions" growing up. I can't wait to do the same for Reagan when she goes off to school (when she's like 30!).
