Thought I'd give a little update on my sister's trip to Yei, Sudan!
1. they made it safely! Praise the Lord.
2. the team is in good health! another big praise.
3. They traveled to the hospital and met with 25 patients with ear problems. One man who was not able to hear for a long time received a hearing aid and lit up with joy when he was able to hear again!!!! I just cannot imagine. They also visited an orphanage and discovered that some of the children were ill. Pray that God would give them wisdom and show them how to care for/love the children, cooks, and people that care for the children there.
4. We have been receiving emails from the leader of their trip with incredible stories of how God is using them to bring joy to the people of Sudan. I have been overwhelmed lately thinking about how God can use us to change the world for Him. Praising Him that my sister gets to be a part of this amazing experience and praying that I will be willing to be used by Him for His glory every moment of every day.
Keep praying for Amy, the rest of the team, and the people of Yei, Sudan.
