the red pants


Dear Ugly Red Pants,


Today, while I was cleaning out our closets, you caught my eye. As I was stuffing you in a "throw away" bag, there was only one thing that made me save you from destruction. Jake was wearing you when I realized he was the one. It's kind of crazy what love can do.
The memories and butterflies made me forget all about how hideous you are,
and now you have found a spot right back in my heart and Jake's side of the closet.
